On average, how much do entry level SAC make?? In Michigan (if you know). Also, is there any programs in MI to become a youth counselor. Not school counselor though. Like at risk youth.

Oct 28, 09 at 4:05 pmAfter reading your questions, I would think you are looking for a career. I will only speak to SAC, if your on motivated by money, then you have chosen probably the worst. It you are motivated by benefit to others, then this has a great reward. In most cases you would be recommending AA/NA, and you would then end up dealing with the negative impact on the mind that the addiction, and chemical imbalance has caused. This take a great deal of training, and clinical experience. OJT.
I would think if psychology is the career of interest, and money your motivation, then family therapy would be the best to choose.
