Has anyone experienced switching from methadone to suboxone?

I have been on methadone treatment for 10 years this month (started July 1999), Methadone was my last resort following 4 rehabs, more than 30 yrs of opiate abuse, jail, and what ended in IV drug use.Methadone has worked really well; however, the suboxone is much more economical in many ways. I’m just afraid not knowing how this medicine will react. Has anyone been through this same situation??
