Very important question…Please answer?

If a woman found out she was pregnant but decided not to have the baby because she didn’t see fit and she had been abusing heroin, but later on around the fifth month of pregnancy decided to keep the baby and stop abusing drugs will the baby still suffer from withdrawals after it has been born.
No judgemental answers becasue I am not experiencing this just asking a question.
