Is it ok for the baby if the mother rolls on ecstasy every other day during the pregnancy, as well as take lsd?

I know its never a mans place to every say anything ever about what a mother does while pregnant.

But This girl who I used to sleep with in my home town, This summer I came back and I saw her at a party and she was blowing lines of E, and she is pregnant. See she goes out with a drug dealer now, and for some reason I dunno why I feel that maybe all these drugs like weed ecstasy and LSD could be bad for the baby.

She said she doesn’t drink since thats been proven through research to be bad for the child. But she says drugs are ok since there is no research on what habitual use of E and LSD can have on a baby.

And I said that there is no research since to conduct a study like that would be child abuse so there is no research. And then I said that just because research does not exist does not mean it could be harmful, and that there was once no research on alcohols effects on a child.

So then she slapped me and told me that a man can never say what a woman should do with their child.

Was I out of line for questioning her hardcore drug use while pregnant?

    no.your not out of line.dont worry.even if you dont say anything..the hospital will.even perhaps her obgyn. they test for these things regularly..when they do blood work for Other things.at birth,they will take her baby away anyways! they always run those tests at birth to check for those exact things! and lsd and the ones you mentioned above,take many months to get out of the system.it is also found to be in the placenta at birth..so,dont worry yourself.just call her a bad mother and dont be friends with her anymore..people like that need serious help..and she obviously doesnt want it.peope like her shouldnt breed.they should be sterilized..just my opinion.

    Actually there IS proof that drugs are harmful for an unborn baby….so let her learn on her own what it’s like to have a disfigured, deformed or disabled child…if the child survives at all.

    Yes its your write to say what you want, but anyone that has it in them to do these things while preg isn’t going to listen to you. Cps will not do anything untill the baby is born so there is no use in that. Its very harmfull to take those drugs while preg, they are harmfull to a full grown adult. Not so much the pot but the other drugs, I just can’t belive it. If she is dirty when she gives birth cps will be called and they will take the baby. She doesn’t care so neither should you, I wouldn’t talk to her again though, poor excuse for a person!
