should i get a new doctor? ativan question?

hello
i currently take 1mg ativan per night. i lost 2 weeks (!) of my medication and my doctor will not refill this early for me. i have 2 pills left, and she told me to cut them into 4ths and 8ths! i am panic attack prone and have depression. i am very scared. i do not abuse my drugs so please dont say im lying:(
will i have seizures? will i freak out? what should i do? i am scared this will hurt me! i have 10 days left and im super scared.
