Whats the right name? A psychologist, therapist, counselor or what?

So, I know what I want to be, but I’m not sure the name. I want to help people. I want to help people with everyday life problems, drug/alcohol abuse, depression, and family problems. I would like to help out children and teens but i would help adults too. I been doing research and I don’t know the proper name for it. I have seen psychologist therapist, counselor, and stuff like that.
So can you just give me advice on the proper name and tell me the steps I need to make to achieve my goal.
