Teens, black clothes, black make up, heads down, looking at the floor, not talking to much, alcohol and drug abuse, start smoking at early age.. do you think it’s a cry for help? do teens do that to get attention and to show how they feel, do you think the way they look, dress, wear make up and behave shows their inner thoughts to other people?

No, listening to metal music, just like listening to any other type of music, gives people a way to express their motions and relax. As for wearing makeup and acting out, I think teens do what they do simply because they are teens, they are supposed to be a little rebellious.

Now, if a teenager is delving into dangerous illegal drugs (meth, heroin, etc.) or is drinking large amounts of alcohol, then it is possible that the teenager has a problem with addiction. While that is not a cry for help, addiction can be a serious problem for some teenagers and it should be properly addressed by the appropriate mental health professionals.

Metal music, a cry for help?
I listen to a lot of Metal/Hardcore music and I’m perfectly fine. I know several others who also listen to Metal and have no problems with any sort of drug abuse or social issues.

So I disagree 100%, Metal music is not a cry for help.

Your assumptions of who listens to metal are misguided.
